pmpddytim
Since I'm only 24 I really don't recall 2600 games being sold new, thus my questions: Were Double enders more expensive new because you got two games and how much did they sell for? -Tim
Dan Iacovelli
some were and some wasn't. I happen to get a rare one for xmas (of course didn't know it back then) chuck norris superkicks/Ghost manner.
Mindfield
Not really. One of my first Atari games (after Donkey Kong and Mouse Trap) was Spike's Peak/Ghost Manor. This was around 1983 (when it was new), and I seem to recall it costing about $30 CDN, which wasn't as much as it cost for premium titles. moycon
Part of the gimmick was you were getting 2 games for the price of 1!!!
yuppicide
I can't remember back that far myself. I do remember we owned Spike's Peak/Artillery Duel.
dogbowl
I've got a shrinked copy of Ghost Manor/Spikes Peak with a Target price tag. Its priced at a whopping $5.99 (which I can only guess means that its a post crash cart) However, one of Xonox's slogans was "twice the fun for the price of one", so doubt they would have been more than a regular cartidge. (FYI, the best place to find the old prices are in the old video game magazines.)
Marco
I wonder how much these cost back in the day... Cheers, Marco

CPUWIZ
i remember a long time ago on RGVC some poster claimed to have played both ends of a double ender at once by using two TVs and two 2600 jr.s Yep, that's 100% possible, the double ender's contain 2 seperate circuit boards. Although, I would imagine that you would want to put the units on their sides.
