oleanhosting
I just started Collecting and I already found my first good find. Yesterday I picked up for $10: - Atari 2600 Jr - Atari 2600 with the Black Label - Atari 2600 with the Woodgrain - 15 Joysticks - 5 Sets of Paddles - A Starcade Pad - 2 5200 Joysticks - Vanguard - Sorccer's Appreciantce - Pole Position - Pac Man Jr. (Red Label) - Defender ( In Box) - Comabt ( In Box) - Pole Position - Carnival - Popeye - Night Driver - Phoniex About 20 other Games that I forget at the moment. Mostly Commons but a few Scarce ones. I used the tip about using the toothpaste for cleaning the Atari 2600 Shell and it work perfect. They look Beautiful now. I cleaned the all the switches and the cartiage slot with contact cleaner from Radio Shack. I also found the right power supply and TV adapter at Radio Shack. All 3 Atari's work . oleanhosting
Sure I will take a look. Just starting out there is alot to get. I now kick myself in the butt for the stuff I gave away just a year ago, like the Wireless Joysticks...

chubsta
i dotn know whether it is just an english thing, but i have NEVER seen any atari stuff in 2nd hand shops - i used to see a few 2600s at boot-fairs, but even that has dried up now, so that the only way i can get carts is from ebay........ Philflound
Carts show up rarely in thrifts, and antique stores around here. Though maybe I'm just poor with my timing. Flea markets and garage sales are much better. Looking forward to the spring. Phil
