Cybergoth
Hi there! Silly idea maybe... I just thought about a possible Jakks TV Games stick with 10 M-Network titles on it. Does anyone know who owns the right to those titles nowadays? The Blue Sky Rangers? Mattel? Within the database I find these 17 titles, but I'd assume some are 2-Player only? And I think some are third party licenses... Cybergoth
Hi there! I see... reduces our list to 15 games: Adventures of Tron Air Raiders Armor Ambush Astroblast Bump 'n' Jump Burgertime Dark Cavern Frogs and Flies International Soccer Kool Aid Man Lock 'N' Chase Masters of the Universe - He Man Space Attack Star Strike Tron: Deadly Discs What about Armor Ambush? Is that 2-Player only as well? Greetings, Manuel
Lauren Tyler
Bump 'n' Jump, Burgertime, Kool-Aid Man, Lock 'n' Chase, Masters of the Universe, and Tron: Deadly Discs are all third-party games so those couldn't be used. Adventures of Tron was rereleased as Adventures on GX-12, so that would work though.
PacManPlus
IIRC, Armor Ambush becomes a one player game if you leave the second controller alone for a few seconds (I *think* that's right)...
Flojomojo
Don't leave the 2-player games out, reprogram them so one can play alone! You're redoing them to fit on an NES-on-a-chip anyway, right? This is a neat idea, but I'd rather see these as plug-in packs for the sequel to the Flashback console that uses the real hardware. Other manufacturer's games like CBS or Parker Brothers would be nice as well, though the licensed properties would have to be changed. Flojomojo
Air RaidersArmor Ambush Astroblast Dark Cavern Frogs and Flies International Soccer Space Attack Star Strike Super Challenge Baseball Super Challenge Football Meh. Once you take away all the difficult licensing issues, it's like a low-res, warmed over Intellivision Lives. A homebrew all-in-one would be much nicer, and a bit of fresh air as well! It wouldn't sell to the casual user, but could be great for AA types. Side note: Has anyone tried any of the NEW games on the Jakks-type units? The Spider-Man game, for example? Star Wars is coming soon, and I'm curious about how good it could be.
Cybergoth
Hi there! Bump 'n' Jump, Burgertime, Kool-Aid Man, Lock 'n' Chase, Masters of the Universe, and Tron: Deadly Discs are all third-party games so those couldn't be used. Hm... well, if Mattel still owned those games, "Masters of the Universe" shouldn't be a problem, or? (BTW: Side question, why did Parker do "G.I.Joe" for the 2600 and not M-Network?!?) Adventures of Tron was rereleased as Adventures on GX-12, so that would work though. I see, so there's these 10 remaining for our stick: Adventures on GX-12 Air Raiders Armor Ambush Astroblast Dark Cavern Frogs and Flies International Soccer Masters of the Universe - He Man Space Attack Star Strike Or are there still any troublesome entries left? Greetings, Manuel
SteveW
Didn't INTV re-release Tron Deadly Discs for the Intellivision in the late '80s as just "Deadly Discs"? If so, then they could use that name on the M-Network one.

Mattel wouldn't grant rights or a license for this title without paying $$$. What about Anteater, Swordfight, or Sea Battle? All of those are owned by Intellivision Productions IIRC.
