Rom Hunter
I don't think it's PAL. It would be nice, though.

Shawn
Holy Shit!!! Super Nice find!!! I would IMHO rate that cart a R8 or a R9 and the fact you have it complete on top of that... I tip my hat to you good Sir, Super find!!
Rom Hunter
In that case you've really discovered something special, Pongbeat. And in excellent condition too! Congratulations! I wonder if the PlayAround logo (and not the Mystique logo) is on screen in Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em.
YOK-dfa
i started a subject on Atarimania forum concerning a pal version of Beat'em & lady...:http://www.atarimania.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=558 Would you join? Why? There is already a thread about it here -> http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=61587 BTW could you post some screenshots? I want to compare them to my copy... Cheers, Raymond
pongbeat
Here is pictures! i've got the chance to have a Ntsc beat'em alone by Mystique so i could make comparaison...Pictures taken on Pal 7800 (in peritel) it's easy! Ps: if you want i could take it also on ntsc, pal or secam 2600! (i 've got plenty of 2600 variations)!
pongbeat
Too big sorry : more clear this time Three more photos
YOK-dfa
Interestingly, those screenshots look the same as my cart... So if your cart is PAL then so is mine Would it be possible to have the ROM dumped? It would be interesting to compare it to the NTSC version... pongbeat
It's not possible for me to dump...so if mine and yours are pal, we have a really rare item
Rom Hunter
There's the PlayAround logo. I think there's a PlayAround Bachelor Party/Gigolo PAL too.
pongbeat
Actually all playaround double should be pal! Could we discuss about rarity 8?9?10?
YOK-dfa
At the moment the other Playaround double-ender has rarity 10, and since i've only seen 2 copies of both that and this double-ender it should follow that the rarities should be same. However, i'm not so sure that's right. I think rarity 10 should be reserved for games that saw an extremely limited distribution because, for example, they were never available in shops. Therefore i would suggest the highest rarity for games that were 'normally' available should be 9. Assuming both of these games saw normal distribution my suggestion would be 9. Anyway, i think i'll hop over to the rarity forum and discuss this in the PAL rarity thread
YOK-dfa
Pongbeat: Can you make a picture of the cart we can use in the PAL rarity guide? (my cart has a rental sticker on it).
