Trade-N-Games
A little sand paper and black marker will fix it. What was he thinking he was like the founder of Atari or something?
NovaXpress
Have any of you tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on old toys? It works amazingly for most mark-removal efforts with little moisture. I even cleaned up some old bubblegum cards with it.
FireTiger
@ sku_u -I'll trade you one that isn't all ruined, but you'll have to pay shipping and throw in an adventure cart. -Is that avtar a chick with big knockers?

Mindfield
Just paint the whole thing white.. it will look kewl! Worked for the Snow White "contest winner" console... Buuuuut seriously. Use a citrus-based cleaner like Orange Clean, or a napthalene or toluene-based cleaner like Goo Gone. Even lighter fluid will work in a pinch. Takes that ink right off. Just be careful not to get it on any of the real ink on the bezel or anywhere off -- it'll take silkscreening off just as well as permanent marker and paint pen. If you're using Goo Gone, use it VERY sparingly and wipe it dry as soon as you've cleaned the ink off. Napthalene and toluene can weaken plastic. (Put a few drops on a styrofoam cup if you want to see what I mean)
adams_ale
Nail polish remover will get that off most likely.

sku_u
Seriously, how did you get his sig? A friend of mine met him a few years ago at CGE and had him sign a few Atari systems.
Atari-Jess
I't be so hard to decide which of my systems I'd want him to sign. Perhaps one of my 6 switches, mmm that would be nice. Nolanbushnellyfresh. oh and Al Alcorn or whoever it was that designed the thing. (sorry I forget your name wherever you are) Yes, that would be good.
