Cootster
Between 40-50$ loose, which is what the one I sold went for in early '03 and what the others I've seen went for. Sweet little game, too. Although it really should use the paddle a la Yar's, IMO.
Trade-N-Games
Atari Age has a magazine called Video Game Collector for sale in the store. It has a list with checkboxes for every game ever made starting with Atari 2600 - Xbox. For the older games it has a loose cart price and a boxed cart price. Its a good average on the fair market value. Death Trap is at $50 loose and $110 boxed. Sometime it might go lower and sometimes it might go higher. bark40oz
solid, so this book is the basis of cart prices?
YOK-dfa
solid, so this book is the basis of cart prices? No. There are no fixed prices for Atari 2600 games. The magazine (or other sources) might give you an indication, but the game may sell for less (or more). The best way to find out the value is to put the game on Ebay with no reserve and a starting price of $1.00 When the auction ends you'll know the value
adams_ale
Game prices are low right now on Ebay. Death Trap is going for 35-40 bucks most of the time. Boxed and complete, I am quite sure that it would sell for no less than 100 bucks. Have you played it? It's really a very fun game.
Mindfield
Death Trap for $35-40? Put me down for 3. :-) I've only managed to acquire the 3 most common CommaVids, and even those I paid $15-20 for.
