Trooper
I was just wondering if the Track 'n' Field Controller is rare at all? /Troop
diggs130
This site lists it as a 4.If that helps! http://www.gamerzuniverse.net/atari/Atari%...guide%20S-T.htm
Ze_ro
Digital Press rates it as an R4 and prices it at $17... that being said, I got mine from a local thrift store for $5, so if I can find it, it can't be terribly rare --Zero
Mindfield
It's not terribly rare. I see them once in a while. I even picked mine up loose for C$5.00. For whatever reason it's consideribly more common than the cart.
video game addict
The same controller was released for 3-4 different platforms, so of course it's gonna pop up a llttle more often that the 2600 cart. I think R4 is about right though. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for one.
Lost Monkey
There were piles of them at Active Surplus in Toronto in the early-mid 90's... I am certain that a lot of collectors got their's from Toronto eBayers and the like. I was selling 4-5 a day at one point about 6-7 years ago for about $5.00 each. holygrailvideogames.com
I remember seeing these sell for $2 each on Prodigy (I think that is what it was called at the time). Someone had hundreds if not thousands of these.
+KaeruYojimbo
The only one I've ever seen around here is the one I got with a 600XL at a garage sale.
Big Player
I got my Track and Field controller by buying the C64 version of the game on eBay. It was a few years ago but I don't think they are that hard to find. The guy I bought it from was selling a ton of shrinkwraped C64 versions so I just waited till I got the price I wanted. The Track and Field controller is the only way to play Decathlon without destroying your joysticks.
