Gracelander
Hi folks, I'm curious if there was a game for the atari 2600 where you jump motorcycles over busses/can's (ala evel knievel). For some reason I thought my friend had one back in the day, but I don't know if that was just wishful thinking. If there is do you know where I might get a copy? Thanks either way. joeybastard
There was a standalone unit(like Pong) called Stunt Cycle that is what you remember. For the 2600 the only thing close is this unreleased proto http://www.atariage.com/software_page.html...wareLabelID=843 Welcome to AA too
Gracelander
Thanks alot for your reply. That must have been what I was thinking about. And thanks for your welcome. It's been a blast reading the messages here, almost makes me want to go to my parents house and dig up my old silver atari jacket with all my patches sewed on hahaha ok maybe not.. Also was kinda cool looking at the section with a few of the activision newsletters, I found my picture in one of them from over 20 years ago.. man how time flies.. thanks again Bob
StanJr
Actually Joey, Stunt Cycle, by Bob Polaro, was released two years ago at the Philly Classic 4. I was there and bought one.
A.J. Franzman
Don't forget that Stunt Cycle was also an early video arcade game (gameplay and look just about the same as the home console unit).
Rob Mitchell
Don't forget that Stunt Cycle was also an early video arcade game (gameplay and look just about the same as the home console unit). The arcade version of Stunt Cycle was my first game to which I was addicted!! Both the dedicated home unit and the arcade one allow you to jump starting at 8 and up to 32 busses (off the screen to the right). The proto 2600 game allows you to jump starting with one bus and up to only 8 busses total. Rob Mitchell, Atlanta, GA
