vali_ent
I`ve noticed a few test/prototype carts for the lynx on the web recently (alien vs predator , road riot, and a lynx diagnostic cart) , all priced around $40 , they are also marked b&c computervisions. I dont have much knowledge on these carts, but are they worth buying or are they just cheap, worthless copies?
SwedenLynxer
You can get 3 of these test/for $90 at B & C ComputerVisions. (Before you could get 4 for $100 - but not anymore?) I also noticed that they do not sell the Loopz prototype anymore now that it has been released (in a proper/official/licensed way) by Songbird Productions! You ask if these test/prototype/replica carts is worth buying. I would say it depends on which games we are talking about. Alien vs Predator: is FAR from finished. I has no gamplay. You can't really do anything in AvP except move around a little in one unfinished level. Lynx Diagnostic Cartridge: It's just a replica of a Atari test cart. Fun for a few minutes only. But still...if you are a collectror. Road Riot: This is a very good game I can recommend. It is 98-99% finished I think. Nice racing game with excellent graphics. It deserves to be released in a proper way like Loopz. Centipede: Boring unfinished game. No music or sound effects. Still it's a classic. Marlboro Go: Limited gameplay but nice graphic. Fun.
