Bruce Tomlin
You need to make sure they are gapped properly before inserting them into the DB-9 jacks.

Bruce Tomlin
Oh and btw., I got these from the flea-market. Do you like them? Oh man, you always find the good stuff! All I found were these!
CPUWIZ
All I found were these! Wow, I actually don't have those yet.
candiru
Crap, I forgot that it posts the pictures in the opposite order they are attached. Just reverse the order accordingly to plug and unplug them. Dang CPUWIZ, I hope you hosed those off before you brought them into your house! They ought to clean up pretty good though.

koward
You guys really know how to help out a newbie. thanks for all the b.s. In my first post I asked for help on including a picture in the post but you clowns must not have gotten that far. If you could help me in posting a picture that would help to slow down the sarcasm. The pic is on ebay and I don't know how to get it into a post. Thanks again for all the help
maibock
Relax man, it's all in good fun save the picture to your hardrive, then when you post again you will see an option to browse/attach the pic - then submit the picture..
joeybastard
To add a picture here, just click the browse button next to Add an Attachment. Point to the location on your machine and hit submit. If you wanted to show something from eBay, you can just cut and paste the URL from your address bar.

candiru
Sorry man, just having a bit of sport. You've got to admit, your first post up there was kind of funny, and once in a great, great while threads devolve into foolishness. Oh and I think that "2600 compatible" bit lied to you. koward
is there supposed to be some kind of adapter or something
koward
it says it on the box though. I don't understand.
bjk7382
They almost look like plugs for the Color Computer by tandy, but I can't get a good enough look at them from the pics.
Danno
There's an Atari CX-40 in that picture falling over in the bottom right corner. Maybe the CX-40 lost a fight with the Big Handlebar S-Video Joysticks?
koward
It does say right on the box. Compatible with atari 2600 vcs. But they are definitely s-video connections. Any body have any use for them. Maybe have an extra set of slik stik controllers lying around to trade. Didn't think so but worth a try. sku_u
Those originally came with adapters that plugged in so that they would have the DB9's necessary to work on the VCS.
sku_u
Those probably originally came with adapters that plugged in so that they would have the DB9's necessary to work on the VCS. I have a few that are somewhat similar that and they came with various different adapters for the different computers of the day. That's if they aren't S-video outs in which case someone hardwired new wires in, but for what purpose, I can't tell you. Sorry for the DP. My cat walked across the keyboard while I was typing. CGQuarterly
My 2600 isn't compatible with titlist golf balls, but I have a six switch so maybe that's why. Chris
