shank
The games i got are asteroids, space invaders, yars' revenge, pole position, vangaurd, barnstorming, ET, starmaster, and realsports boxing. I have two questions: It says 1978 on the space invaders cart, is that the year it came out for Atari or the arcade? In asteroids, how did they make the ship float? Cassidy Nolen
78 most likely is referring to the arcade version. I think it came out in 80 on the 2600 (dont have a copy in front of me). Cassidy

hex65000
The ship floats in Asteroids using a string that is less than 1 pixel wide so you can't see it. However, did you know that real space rocks WERE injured in the creation of Asteroids. It wasn't until Astroblast for the Intellivision where they realized they could use construction paper, packing chips and gram-crackers to simulate a space rock. leg> Hex.
