Trooper
I tried searching for the answer to my question but didn't come up with anything with all answers for me. I own two 1050 diskdrives but haven't got a power supply for any of them, I also own an 800XL and two 800's Now my questions are: What specs powersupply do I need for the 1050 and 800's? Voltage/Amps/Polarity? My second question: Is the power supply for the 800XL and the 130XE the same? Cheers! /Troop
Trooper
Ok I just found my old question regarding 130XE/800XL PSU so that's cleared out =) I really need to start writing things down, I also had an old question of a 1050 PSU so what info I need now is what polarity the output should be........or that doesn't apply if it's AC?? I guess not but I'll ask anyway to be sure. /Troop
classics
For the 1050 and 800, you want a 9 volt *AC* power supply rated to at least 1.5 amps. The 800XL and 130XE do use the same power supply. There are many different looks to the XL computer power supplies, but they are all 5v+ with a DIN connector. Steve
classics
You are right, there is no plug polarity to match on an AC supply. As long as its the right voltage, can drive at least 1.5 amps, and the plug fits, it will work. Steve
