My haul for the last few weeks.

I've accumulated quite a few goodies over the past few weeks or so and waited to list them all.

First we have a Sears 1977 6 switch. It came in a big bag with one of those Atari push button slide out game holders filled with early games. Target Fun, Space Invaders, Basketball, Blackjack, Casino and Breakaway IV. One thing I noticed with the games is that the early cartrisges were all fairly smooth feeling where the newer ones are rougher to the touch. It came with manuals, the original Sears manual 2 sets of paddles, Sears and Atari and the original hex topped joysticks minus the disk unfortunately. No original power supply either. The system is in almost pristine condition. I'd go so far as to say, judging by wear and the games that is was used for about a year or less and fairly light usage too and then boxed up in a bag as it was very clean, but not recently "cleaned up". It does have a grey Atari service repiar sticker over another sticker on the underside. Maybe reconditioned or something. That was 30 dollars.

Next we have an Atari 1977 6 switch with 2 original boxed games. Combat 01 version and another I can't remember offhand. It has the original grey power supply and hex joysticks, 1 with the original disc. It has the original switchbox which seems to have an ungodly amount of wear. I'd say it was used on many many other systems because... the Atari is even more pristine than the Sears unit. It has no damage and based on the complete lack of anything but the 2 original games(it came in a big box with everhting) it looks like it got about 6 months of light usage then boxed up and never looked at again. Both systems are as clean as can be and I mean almost new out of the box looking. This one was 5 dollars.

A few points n those systems. They are the heavy 6 switches. Also, I really like the cables and joysticks on those. The cables have a ribbed easily flexible feel to them unlike the fairly stiff later model RF cables. The joysticks are a pleasure. I don't need to feel like I'm playing one of those strength testers at the arcade when I move the sticks. They are smooth, not stiff, in a looseish, but not used sort of way. Very little effort to move around unlike the death grip I need to hold the later model ones, lol. By any chance, does anyone have an extra original RF cable in good shape? The 1977 ribbed version I currently have that is.

Next up we have a whole slew of 7800 games with a couple 2600 games. Double Dragon, Rampage, Mat Mania Challenge, Ikari Warriors, Super Skateboardin, F-18 Hornet, Pete Rose Baseball, Karateka, Crossbow, Hat Trick, Choplifter, One on One, Galaga, Dig Dug, Food Fight, Impossible Mission, Xevious... and for the 2600 BMX Airmaster, Pitfall II, Winter Games, Summer Games, Mario Bros, Defender and a shrinkwrapper Robot Tank. Those were 25 dollars in the same box. I got em all. For those interested, the BMX is just the TNT verison, Double Dragon is the white label and almost newish shape while Rampage looks like actiplaque hell.

Next we have, when I bought them, new shrinkwrapped games. One on One, Video Checkers, Flag Capture(the picture label version, not text), Backgammon, Realsports Tennis, Tennis for the XE/800/400 whatever. Those were 25, but add in a laserdisc to the total. Later I got Faery Tale for the Genesis for 5 bucks boxed and all that.

Next we have 2 more boxed games I got. Solar Storm and Blueprint. 8 dollars total I paid for those.

(by the way, I'm listing them like this because that's how I got em. From differnt places. just listing by individual purchase and since the overwhelming majority are Atari 2600, listing them here, lol)

Got a 2600 trackball, brown and yellow style for 6 bucks.

A Jaguar for 5 dollars, a Dreamcast for 10. new Metroid Prime 2 for 2.99. Half Life 2 for 4. Alexander for 5.

This doesn't include the auctions for the 3 nnew Mythicon games, 2 Starplex controllers, Cosmic Commander and the empty box for the Atari game storage unit I listed up there(go figure, I find the EXACT empty box I need the same day I find the storage unit...) Hangly Man, Haunted Adventure SE I'm waiting on, etc. lol

Ooo, and the most unusual looking CD-i roller controller for 3 bucks. I think that's all for games till tomorrow. I think I did pretty decently. I wouldn't mind finding more boxed games and somewhat rarer ones. Although I'd really like to start seeing Colecovision and Intellivision stuff again.
