philnyy Posted February 3, 2002 Share Posted February 3, 2002 super breakout is better because of the variations in game play- it's got a version with 2 balls at once, the double paddle and another (i'm not sure if it's the same game) with 2 separate breakout walls. and there's one where the wall creeps down every few seconds- like space invaders. legeek Posted February 4, 2002 Share Posted February 4, 2002 You can read my reviews of both games below breakout super breakout But in a nutshell I found super breakout to be a lot of fun, while I think breakout gets boring pretty quickly. Once you clear the first two, no more blocks appear. That's why I rarely ever play the original any more. I finish the second level with one or two balls left and I have nothing to do. Super Breakout keeps going until you lose all your balls. I also really like the other versions of Breakout. (Doubles is my favorite.) Sometimes I'll play the original. I really like Breakthru.
