Foxsolo2000
I was just pointing it out but thanks for the offer. Rom hate to disagree with you but the site I found it on listed it as Amidar and had a pic to show it but from the screen shot it looked more like Net maker for Amidar was more spiderlike in his appearance. Rom Hunter
Maybe Marco made a mistake then. Take a look at post #2 of this old topic: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...=action+hi-tech BTW: Marco also states here that Learning Spelling is the same game as Basic Math, instead of Hangman (AKA Spelling). Edited October 3, 2005 by Rom Hunter
Foxsolo2000
Well I don't want to step on Marco's toes but perhaps there could be two versions? To my memory Action Hi-Tech didn't rip of many Atari releases and I would be very surprised that an Aussie company would have got Learning Spelling mixed up with Basic Maths. Sears put down Hangman as Spelling so logic would dictate that Learning Spelling should at the very least be Hangman! Had it be done be a Taiwan ROC group then I would have said yes, that was logical as most of the things they did are not logical in any way, shape or form. Marco if you are out there (knock once for yes, twice for no) put us heathens right on which is which
Rom Hunter
I think you're right, Foxsolo. Here's what DP has to say about Surround 'Em from Action Hi-Tech: http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=10167 Edited October 3, 2005 by Rom Hunter
Foxsolo2000
Interesting, that is a picture of Amidar and not Netmaker. Mind you it lends weight to what I was saying. Now, if we can just get Learning Spelling sorted out Rom seems you were right about Seal to Whales being Brick Kick for Atariage has a box scan and on the back it says the same thing. 1. Cybertom
Hi, to solve the mystery if it exists I have taken a Screenshot because i'm not sure which game it could be. It says Dimax at the bottom of the Screen. Hope this helps. greetings Tom
Rom Hunter
This sure helps, Tom! Thanks! This is interesting indeed. Dead-Ray is supposed to be a Home Vision cartridge. It's the same game as the one on your picture (Astrowar from Dimax - Sinmax). Rick Weis owns a black Dead-Ray cart, but now I'm almost certain that this is not an original Home Vision cartridge. Here is Rick's discription of the cart: ...the dead-ray cart i have is in a black case with no # on it no end label and don't say homevision on it but front label has the house shape picture... One thing is certain now: War 2000 (Home Vision cart #2) is the same game as Astrowar from Dimax - Sinmax. Which totally makes sense, because Home Vision cart #1 is Robot Fight, which is the same game as Space Robot from... Dimax - Sinmax. This also suggests that Astrowar from Dimax - Sinmax is an original. Thanks again, Tom! BTW: if you have other Home Vision to share with us, please do! Foxsolo2000
Well done Cybertom, most impressive. At last a mystery solved. Thanks for the info Rom, kind of lends weight to Challenge being Go Go Home Monster dont you think? Rom Hunter
Rom, kind of lends weight to Challenge being Go Go Home Monster dont you think? Could be. And if Challenge (HES) is the same game as Go Go Home Monster, then Dragon Defender (Rainbow Vision) could be a Home Vision title as well (it has the same programming style). Let's wait and see what comes out of this river. Edited October 4, 2005 by Rom Hunter
Foxsolo2000
Rom didn't you once say that Plug Attack was in fact Plaque Attack by Activision? By the way if you are interested I discovered that Monkey by Dismac is in fact Donkey Kong by CBS. Foxsolo2000
Rom came across a selection of interesting cartridges from Brazil and Argentina. Thought you might be interested. Here there is an unusual cartridge that is Grand Prix. Also a seller on Ebay was selling Space Raider as a Home Vision title. I was aware of Goliath/Hotshot passing it off as their own but I wasn't aware of Home Vision releasing it. Is this true Rom? Rom Hunter
Thanks for the scans, Fox! I wonder what these light blue cartridges are. The person who's selling this Space Raider as a Home Vision cartridge does not know what he's talking about. The Space Raider shown here is not a Home Vision cartridge, but a Goliath - Hot Shot release. It's the same game as Sky Alien (from Home Vision) or Assault (from Bomb - Onbase) or Fire Birds (from ITT Family Games). BTW: I'm still looking for the true identity of these two Goliath - Hot Shot games: I think both games are the same game as Sea Monster from Bit Corporation, but I'm not 100% certain. Foxsolo2000
Hmmm, thought that was the case. He was also attempting to pass Jumping Jack of as a Home Vision title too. I too wish I knew what the light blue ones were or even the cartoon ones next to them but unfortunatley I cannot speak Spanish and he could not tallk English. If memory serves me right the Goliath/Hotshot release of Sea Master was suppossed to be either Sea Hawk or Bermuda, could never remember which. As for Sea Monster it is the same as See Monster by Bit Corp.
YOK-dfa
I think both games are the same game as Sea Monster from Bit Corporation, but I'm not 100% certain. According to my list i have both, if they are not in storage i can check what games they are. I'll let you know.
Foxsolo2000
So Rom was Plug Attack by Fun Vision Plaque Attack by Activision or not?
Rom Hunter
I'm not sure about that, but I think it's highly probable. I've asked a guy who owns one to mail me back. According to Marco it's a Funvision version 3 (blue Zellers like box, Halley's Comet label underneath upper label), but I found out there's also a Plug Attack with a red Taiwan box. DP also mentions a Taiwan version. I'm still digging for new info and I'll keep you informed. Edited October 11, 2005 by Rom Hunter

Foxsolo2000
There was a choplifter Taiwan pirate that was Chopper Command by Activision. i wonder if this was the same one for the label is different.
san-d-2000
Someone in Germany found 15 choplifters all different titles, this is Boxing. Heres another pic for your viewing pleasure.
