Rom Hunter
Laser Base (ITT Family Games) is the same game as World End (Quelle - Double-Game package). Take a look at this Double-Game package manual: It discribes the same game as Laser Base (ITT Family Games) and also mentions the 4 game variations. Foxsolo2000
Thanks Rom, thought that it was the case. Sandy, do you know the name of the guy in Germany with the 15 ChopLifters? I am surprised that they they are all different. Is it a case of the company called Choplifter rather than the game? I ask for I once almost made the mistake of bidding on a game called Pet Boat Tennis thinking it was another version of Tennis before discovering that Pet Boat was the name of a company. FND
Not sure if anyone is interested but since I have them I thought I would put up a scan of 7 ENDURO'S by different companys. Probably even have others
Rom Hunter
Nice collection of Enduro's, FND. Great to see all the differences. BTW: do you also have the Activision one?

BTW: do you also have the Activision one? 946402[/snapback] I forgot about that one I was only pulling from my import collection so I missed my US Activision copy. Also have a bunch of multi-game import carts that have it listed as well. I would guess I have even more single game copies in the boxes I have in storage, This game title seems to be one that just about every one did a copy of
Marco
I've read on some Brazilian site that Enduro and River Raid are the most copied titles over there. Cheers, Marco
Foxsolo2000
Marco was there ever a company called Choplifter? I ask as Sandy posted a reply saying that there was a guy in Germany who had fifteen such cartridges all with different games on it. As the leading expert in European releases I thought that you might be the one in the know about it.
san-d-2000
Jens from GameReset.de found the choplifters.
Rom Hunter
I really hope that Jens and his mates are going to update their (now dying) site. I already offered him to help refreshing Gamereset with new info and scans, but I got no response (yet). Too bad, because it really has potential in becoming an important A2600 PAL site. My hope lies in Atarimania now, which is growing rapidly each and every day. Edited October 12, 2005 by Rom Hunter
Foxsolo2000
Yeah I tried contacting him too but no joy as yet. Sandy do you have any multi carts in your collection, ones that have the games Space Trip, Saturn 5 and Treasure Island on them?
pumbaaj
I have "Cracker Pet" with the skull island label. It's PAL, but I don't have an older TV to play it on. Anybody have an idea of what game this is? Wes

Foxsolo2000
But isn't it the Crackpots with the blander graphics? The one with the washed out look to it. Added some new pic. Some will have seen them before but the majority might not so enjoy. Doc1.doc Edited October 13, 2005 by Foxsolo2000

Foxsolo2000
Rom just had conformation (of a sort) that Plug Attack is in fact Plaque Attack. Seems you were right all along
Foxsolo2000
Just added a new bunch of pics if anyone is interested. One_of_the_games_in_the_pic_above_is_Xadrez.doc
Foxsolo2000
Rom just came across a couple of games from Brazil. Raid Mortal is in fact Beany Bopper by 20th Century Fox. Sapo Papao is Frog N Flies by M-Network. Both were available on Ebay.
Rom Hunter
Yes, Video Grow made some fantastic cartridges. I really like them. Raid Mortal is a new one for me. Nice pictures, Fox.
Foxsolo2000
If you liked the last pics Rom then you might be interested in these. In this picture you can see three unusual games. One is called Fox (after Solar Fox), the other is called Boy and the third on the far left has a variation of the Zellers Challenge lable but was labeled Assualt (the one from Bomb). In this you can just see two Home Vision boxes, Asteroid Fire and Tanks War. I tried contacting the seller but he could only speak French. This one was the one with the end label Boy. The seller confirmed it was Stampede. The last picture is of a game going on Ebay, a very rare Sea Monster by Puzzy. I doubt that many have seen one before. Spirantho
In this you can just see two Home Vision boxes, Asteroid Fire and Tanks War. I tried contacting the seller but he could only speak French. So that's why I did GCSE French! Thanks for heads-up.
Rom Hunter
This is interesting indeed! Tanks War has exactly the model number I was hoping for (VCS83135). It fits right into the Bit Corp AKA's of the Home Vision list. I'm 99% certain that it's the same game as Phantom Tank from Bit Corporation. Great work, Fox! Marco
That auction was supposed to remain hidden until it was over... Foxsolo2000
Aplogies Marco but I thought it was more important for Rom to know so that he could complete his list and so aid the rest of us poor mortals
