Four player games on the 2600

Well, it could only be paddle-based games (at least as far as four-at-a-time is concerned). So that narrows it down considerably.

Blackjack's only 3-at-a-time, isn't it?

Here's the full list of paddle games:

Glancing over that list, here are the only others that come to mind for me as 4-player games:

Casino

Street Racer

Steeplechase

Warlords [Atari] and Party Mix [starpath] as well...

You're right that Warlards had already been mentioned, but I don't think Party Mix had.

I have a mental block when the Starpath is mentioned... I have trouble acknowledging that it exists. :ponder: Sorry!

BTW... "Warlards" (sic)...

Party Mix is STUPID fun.  We just had a visit with Big Player and we tried out all of the Party Mix games.  They are a blast.

The only drawback to Party Mix is that you need either four players or two to enjoy the games. We had three with the lovely pitfallaimee, Stan Jr and myself and so one of us had to sit out a round. I tried to get my brother to stop over but he had other plans. Something about taking a cruise on the Ohio river with his friends. Can't believe he gave up a day of Atari for that.

Pressure Gauge 2 was a 4-player paddle game too (and, I thought it was kinda fun, at least when testing it).

This topic has been raised before; I'm sure someone could provide a link to either that topic, or the link to PG2 in the Dig.

If anyone ever tries it out, drop me a line. :)

Regards,

-John
