Gregory DG
Why did it take so long for this to get made?
SteveW
The movie isn't based on the old videogame. If I remember, one of the stars was on G4's Attack Of The Show, and they asked him about that, and he denied the movie had any relation to the game. Gregory DG
The movie isn't based on the old videogame. I didn't really think it did. I just thought it was cool someone made a movie with the same title. If I remember, one of the stars was on G4's Attack Of The Show, and they asked him about that, and he denied the movie had any relation to the game. Wow, someone actually remembered the original game? Cool...
The_Laird
I used to write and publish a Lynx Fanzine back in the day called Warning! As well as a monthly magazine I used to do quarterly 'specials' like a complete review guide or tips & cheats special and one of the specials I did was Pit-Fighter: The Movie. It had a review for every version of the game, preview of Pit-Fighter 2 for the Megadrive/Genesis, Tips & Cheats and a look at who could play all the charecters if they made a movie. I seem to remember these were some of the actors I put forward for roles: Ty - Jean Claude Van Damme Buzz - Hulk Hogan Kato - Bolo Yeung Angel - Cynthia Rothrock Mad Miles - Dolf Lundgren The Ultimate Warrior - The Ultimate Warrior! Southside Jim - Bubba Smith Can't remenber the rest right now and don't have a copy of the mag, in my Dads loft somewhere. Any suggestions if the made one today? Maybe Jet Li for Kato? The_Laird
Southside Jim - The Big Show (?) Southside Jim is Black! Big show would be better as Chainman Eddie - especially with that choke slam!
