cryptik76
We all know that the DS can have both a GBA and DS cartridge inserted at the same time, so do any of you have a favorite combination of games to take with you? For me, right now it is Rebelstar Tactical Command (GBA) and Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble (DS). Different types of games, but both thoroughly engrossing. kevin242
For me it's Mario and Luigi in the DS slot and Prince of Persia Sands of Time in the GBA cart slot.
BydoEmpire
DS - Mario Kart DS GBA - Activision Anthology This has been 90% of my gaming over the last month.
ninjarabbit
Right now I have Castlevania DS in the DS slot and Final Fantasy IV in the GBA slot.
shep
I typically keep Namco Museum in the GBA slot with either Animal Crossing or Kirby Canvas Curse in the DS slot. Having Namco around is perfect for the short, waste a small bit of time while we aren't busy at work game sessions.
classicgamingguy
Animal Crossing: WW has been glued into the DS slot for awhile now, but nothing graces the GBA slot..I'm thinking I'll go get either FF 1 & 2 or FF 4 from Gamestop shortly to fill the void and keep me happily gaming for some time to come. Avid Fan
Well I just got my DS yesterday (A friend who doesn't play his gave it to me and told me to give him 50 bucks whenever I have the chance, he's playing every other system out now except 360, and that DOES include N-gage) Well, I've got ZERO games for it, but he was cool enough to give me the MP:H demo. So that stays in that slot, and well, I dont think Minish Cap wil leave my GBA slot for a while
Atarifever
GBA: Gunstar Superheroes DS: Mario Kart It doesn't really matter though, because the DS is not a portable for me, and I just have it where the games are anyway so I change it frequently. Shannon
Currently the use of my GBA cart port has been pretty much diminished. Most cases it has either DKC1 or Namco Museum in it. But I like Cheese007's combo there. The DS slot has been alternating between animal crossing and mario kart.

Flojomojo
Haven't been playing the DS much since the Micro GBA came out -- it fits in my pocket, after all. My old favorite combos: Mario 64 in the top and Mario World in the bottom and Zookeeper in the top and NES emulator in the bottom (lady's favorites)

If so, how well does it work? I'm thinking about picking one up this month...
MaDDuck
Incredible!!! I'm getting a DS next week, and this thread (thank you!) answers a question I had. Can they both peacefully co-exist, yes they can, how do you switch between them??? BTW, I'd have Mario Kart in the DS slot and Dr. Mario(which I hate!)/Puzzle Leauge(which I love) in the GBA slot. or Activision Anthology!! My link cable appears to be shot so now it's pretty much a dedicated cartridge. Fortunately, it has a mess of NES games, a few SMS games, Konami Arcade, and Activision Anthology on it, so it's pretty much perfect as it is. The movie player you're thinking about looks user-friendly but limited. Personally, I would skip it and get a flash card instead. Everything else you needed to know but were afraid to ask is here.
figgler
How about Metroid Prime Pinball and the Rumble Pak? That counts right? I have the new SP, so I rarely use my DS for GBA games Edited January 3, 2006 by figgler
sega saturn x
Right now it's phoenix wright in the DS slot and sigma star saga in the GBA slot. Thought I have yet to actually play sss.
classicgamingguy
Addendum!! I recently acquired Golden Sun for the GBA, and couldn't wait to fit it into that poor, lonely GBA slot on my DS. AC: WW still has the top spot, but Golden Sun now owns the GBA spot exclusively. I powered up GS and fell in love all over again. Ahh, thank you, Nintendo. sega saturn x
I finally got to play sigma star saga, it's a nice change of pace after all the talking in phoenix right. Plus it controls and looks very nice, it doesn't hurt that it feels at least somewhat deeper than your average shooter. Even if the shooting segments don't reflect this.
