C017945 Power Supply usage?

Which 8-bit computer/disk drive should I use the Atari C017945 power supply with? This is a 120V input and a 9V AC output. It also has the round pin connector. Can I safely use this with the 1050 drive?

That is the correct power supply for the 1050 disk drive.

Sounds right. What's the amps rating though?

 

My 1050 PSU is 240V in, 8.5 Volts AC out at 4.5 amps.

 

The cassette recorder also uses 9 V AC, but only at around 1.2 Amps.

Thanks for info. I'm close to trying out PCxformer with my modified ST Xformer cable and I didn't want to fry my 1050 drive in the process. Cal
