Well, that is the idea of the Dal-ACE tribute site is to have a place for people to referrence to see images, get the feeling of the user group, and get the disk images. That said, glad you liked it, and heck, the website is not bad for the occational access, but how about I make the images available here too! Just remember to check out the site later. Gury
I definitely have to add Newsletters and User groups sections to the menu of my site as soon as possible. You can also check Futura, disk newsletter from Page 6 magazine library: http://www.page6.org/pd_lib/special/pd_ds072.htm http://www.page6.org/pd_lib/special/pd_ds073.htm and so on... doctorclu
I'm happy to add that along with the Dal-ACE page, a better tribute to AUNT (the ST user group the Atari Users of North Texas), and the JYBOLAC main page and artcase have all been updated. www.atarimania.com
Your site would be a lot better with correct information... The ACE Newsletter is a publication of the ACE user group of Eugene, Oregon. Only proper type-in listings come from the ACE Newsletter. The ACE Newsletter has absolutely nothing to do with Dal-ACE, which is another independent user group that had a newsletter but just distributed disks with stuff from various sources on a monthly basis. -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com Edited October 18, 2006 by www.atarimania.com

Maybe we misunderstand each other, what probably is the fact. If you check my ACE list, I collect any source... It can be Dallas, Houston, Eugene... And yes, Dallas ACE is a newsletter, so... In the future I will expand details about entries even more with such detailed information if it is missing right now. And remember, I will NOT stop to maintain my site, even if you claim how bad it is and how misleading my information is! Good day

The ACE Newsletter is a publication from ACE (of Eugene, OR). Dal-ACE is NOT affiliated with ACE (of Eugene, OR). They have nothing in common except the generic use of "ACE" in the name. The Atari Computer Enthusiasts of Boston could publish a newsletter, that doesn't mean it shoud be under ACE Newsletter in a listing... And remember, I will NOT stop to maintain my site, even if you claim how bad it is and how misleading my information is! I never ever wrote such things... This is the second time you do this: stop misinterpreting what I write to suit your views and putting words into my mouth, it's VERY lame. It seems your concern is the same as ours, which is fine. The only difference is that you go for quantity over quality without ever checking your information, which is a bad move for the Atari community. -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com

Who says I don't check my information? If there is something I don't know (or I am not aware of) and somebody corrects me, I do that as soon as possible. That way site continues to be maintained and as accurate as possible. You see? That's what I am trying to say! A bad move for the Atari community... Ok, you alone can be the main huge source of the information available. I think you are a bit sarkastic of others work they do. And there is not just the quantity over quality. I collect the information where ever can be obtained, even directly from the authors. Of course, I don't look at your site anymore, because you already mentioned to not modify your data. COME ON, who said I use it or visit your site in first place? I just checked the news every 1 or 2 months... But I think that is unneccesary, so that habit will be ended right now! You are right about the ACE differentiating. Also, the field layout of my information base will change anyway in time, the main problem now is the current entry identification as publisher, producer or public domain library, mixed together. We learn all the time and make corrections on our own mistakes.
www.atarimania.com
Just my two cents again, this is NOT meant as an offense to what you're doing... Also, the field layout of my information base will change anyway in time, the main problem now is the current entry identification as publisher, producer or public domain library, mixed together. Sure but the limit to your system is that a game may be in dozens of public domain libraries and it still won't help you get correct information without proper research. A perfect example would be Pro Tour Golf, which is NOT a public domain program at all (despite being distributed by mistake in a number of such collections) and was published by Adventure International as Sunday Golf. Again, just a general comment to what I think should be done to avoid confusion and gain in reliability... -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com
Gury
Hi Atarimania, No, no offense at all, it is great to get a suggestions and comments from experts. Yes, I am aware of such products, so I will try to make more accurate data for such entries when more exploration will be done.

Gury
Hi doctorclu, This link is obsolete, the new one is here. I did many changes to my site, including page references, searching facility and layout. I will leave old old pages online for some time to come, but later they will be removed, so people will not be confused with old references. My goal is to put more consistent information to product details as I know that some data is missing or false as stated in some post replies at the top Of course, I will revise Dal-Ace and other newsletter publication stuff and put all new information online, including new link references because currently many links are dead. Stay tuned. Edited February 26, 2019 by Gury
