Zonie
I just got a set of 5200 wico joysticks for six bucks. Unfortunately, the keypads were not with them, and only one Y cable. The Y cable will be easy to copy, but has anyone used a wico and a regular 5200 controller? Can this be done? Are the lines for the joystick not connected to the female 15 pin connector so the joysticks are not both connected to the console? I am still piecing my 5200 system together so since I don't yet have a console, I cannot test this. At least, Now I can look for a console without controllers or dead ones and save some cash. The pots aren't connected, and a regular 5200 pad works just fine as a Wico keypad.

diggs130
When I use my y connector with my wico/or compitition stick I use a regular 5200 stick for the keypad!I have to make sure that the regular 5200 stick stays centered or it throws the directional control off on the wico or compitition. Just make sure the stick on the 5200 controller is centered, or as already mentioned it will screw up the control of the Wico stick. The 5200 stick has priority, so if you're having control issues, you need to check the 5200 stick. I usually center mine up using Berzerk. NE146
Man I had a Wico 5200 joystick in 1982. The FIRST time I ever saw a Wico keypad was in 2005! It not like I didn't want it.. I looked far and wide for years for a Wico keypad but could never find one. It was only last year when I bought one from CPUWiz did I ever finally get my grubby hands on one I guess the point is.. yeah, obviously the 5200 Joystick keypad works fine
NightSprinter
My only question regarding the 5200 Wico sticks is regarding the self-centering feature. Mine seems to only want to center itself for left and down. Guessing there might be a bad spring or two?
