dr. kwack
I've been using my XMM 801 printer quite a bit lately and I'm constantly having problems with the paper. The pin feed sprockets (the parts that have the "nubs" the paper fastens to) keep sliding. According to the manual, you are supposed to lock them in place with the Sprocket release levers. These levers are supposed to pull forward to unlock and push back to lock. Mine do neither, they just wiggle loosely. I don't want to push too hard and break them. Anyone know anything about this? Think I got it to print a bit, and eventually returned it to the guy I borrowed it from. I remember seaching for a printer catridge and finding a similar printer cartridge for a compatible printer was still sold at Office Max. That was in 2001-ish I believe.
