Prodos8
I've got three original NES toaster decks that I use to play games regularly. However, there are some distinct differences. Two of them play almost all of my carts without pushing them down, just need to insert them. My other one plays some carts in this manner and all carts with the push down method. My question is does pushing the carts down put more stress on the 72 pin connector? Is is better, if your system will, to play carts withoug pushing them down? BTW they all have the stock NES connector, in case anyone was wondering.

okto
If they work fine without pushing the carts down, by all means play them that way. It will reduce the stress on the pins in the connector and make it last longer.
