Marco!
I've searched and googled but I haven't been able to find a "patch" that modifies the Chip's Challenge cart so it has the new user-created CCLP2 levels (instead of the original levels). Has this ever been attempted? I know this wasn't possible before the Lynx encryption was revealed (http://www.cgexpo.com/encrypt/lynx.htm) but *in theory* it should be possible now. The main reason is I want to play this on the PSP using PLynx so it's not necessary to program a real cart for this (but those who have this could use it on real hardware). semicolo
can't plynx play homebrew images ? No need to encrypt a homebrew to play on emulators.
semicolo
I've been making more researches on the subject, in fact the cclp2 is a chip's challenge ruleset originally written for the windows version of the game and the 2 versions are not fully compatible. Your best bet would be to port tileworld to the psp, it's written in C and uses SDL, should be quite easy. I can't help since I don't own a psp, if you can't program, find a team to do it for you. Marco!
Actually, there's already a project underway to port Tile World to PSP: http://pspupdates.qj.net/Tile-World-Port-C...pg/49/aid/11033 I'll use this once I get the original Chip's Challenge finished (for 'once' you may also read 'if' ). I'd still prefer to play it using the original game engine with the modified levels, who knows one day...
