atarivision
Interesting closed eBay Australia auction: · Gold Mine cartridge · looks like an 8-bit cartridge was bundled in a larger lot of Atari 2600 games. Matt A.
www.atarimania.com
This is odd as the game is supposed to exist as a proto only -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com
Tempest
Could it be a C-64 cart? It's always hard to tell from a distance. I thought Gold Mine was proto only as well, except I did see a picture of one once. Then again, we all thought Matterhorn was proto only at one point... www.atarimania.com
Could it be a C-64 cart? It's always hard to tell from a distance.Nope, it seems only the A8 has a game called Gold Mine. I thought Gold Mine was proto only as well, except I did see a picture of one once. I remember... I thought I had this picture but I can't find it right now Then again, we all thought Matterhorn was proto only at one point... Could be a similar scenario then, with some distributor buying the short run of cartridges made just before the company went bust... -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com Edited May 22, 2006 by www.atarimania.com
