godzillajoe
I just picked up this cart. I guess it came with something so you could hold the two sticks together. How necessary is this for a decent gaming experience? I can just rig something up myself right? Anyone have any tips? That don't involve Duct tape? JB
Scotch tape. Seriously, I can play it using both controllers as thumbsticks, but I lose a good deal of accuracy. But since I don't have a controller holder, it's a lot easier than taping a pair of sticks to a chunk of plywood/cardboard/legos/dark matter. ESPNZone1600
Hey Joe, You can pick an adaptor from either of the retro stores listed in the links. Atari2600.com or 4Jays.net has them. It all depends if you want to drop the $$$ for it. GO BOSOX!!! I love those "Idiots" Davey Wells is back and pitchin' on Friday!!!

Paranoid
Last time I played, I think I just put them on the carpet and kind of bracketed them between my legs. Not exactly elegent, but it worked, more or less.

Paranoid
LOL! As I was describing it, I was suffering from just this mental image. I actually used the word "straddled" originally, and had to change it to "bracketed", because it was just too vivid of an image. I mean... I *love* my 5200, even the joysticks, but strictly in a platonic way.

Paranoid
Hell... the wife is already jealous of the retro-game collection getting so much of my attention as it is.
