calfranklin
I recently bought a 5200 system on Ebay and when I hooked it up, the red buttons on one of the standard controllers didn't work (meaning there was no response from the game I was playing). Can this be fixed? If so, how?
JagFan422
i fixed mine by taking it apart and taking some cleaner and a paper towl. Get that black crap off where the contacts are and you'll be fine. Just becareful putting it back together, i've found 5200 controllers to be a pain in the ass to get back together properly.
Lord Helmet
I did the same thing, but i used a pencil eraser on the contacts. Took all of the grime right off. Also, I second the warning to be careful. the flex circuit is delicate. You don't want to bend it around to much for fear that the leads will break.
