Curt Vendel
I'll see everyone at the show, I'll be there with an Atarimuseum display and also a booth with several Awecades arcade machines. Also, Ed will be posting shortly, but Awesome Expo Services has teamed up with VGXPO to offer Vendor/Exhibitor services. For those who've seen the kiosks that Atariage uses at shows, has seen the huge Atarimuseum display wall, has seen the reproductions of the Colecovision, Odyssey2, Astrocade, Atari 2600 kiosks, well those were originally done by me, now through Awesome Expo Services we will build any kind of kiosk, display or reproduction display for any vendors/exhibitors for VGXPO and will delivery the kiosks/displays directly to the showfloor (its yours to take home from there afer the show) We will take 10% off any price we quote for your VGXPO exhibit/display/kiosk. Contact: sales@awecades.com or call toll free 877-459-1525, all orders for exhibits/displays/kiosks MUST be received by Oct 7th to arrive for the show. Cassidy Nolen
I got a table this year. Will try to bring Computer Space for show. If I can get MasterCam X up in time, may even have some interesting projects being manufactured at the show. All depends on timing.... Tons of boxed 2600 stuff for sale, lots of loose carts and some oddball systems/packages that you all already have but the mainstream populus has not seen in ages. Looking forward to some arcade play myself. Always love Jeff's collection....drool drool. Cassidy

Chickybaby
Ok - who wants to have a game of Ms. Pac-Man with me Sure, after you sample a batch of "special cookies" I mix up just for the occcasion. (Unless you play better drunk that is. ) I just wish we could go to the show - $50 for the 2 of us just for one day to get in the doors (more like a few hrs of walking around) is just way too much money IMHO. This will be the first expo we miss and it really blows! We are both very sad. I just hope we aren't alone in protesting the costs but we don't have any other option. ed_fleming
BIG NEWS: Chris Satchell, Microsoft's GM of the Game Developer Group, will provide the VGXPO Keynote on October 27 Consumers as Creators: Ready, Set, Create! Millions of gamers around the world enjoy video games, but only a select few get to participate in the creation of them. In films and music, YouTube and MySpace are showcasing extra-ordinary creations that come from the community. The creativity of consumers turned creators is amazing and powers these vibrant communities. The key enabler for creators is the widespread availability of easy-to-use, low cost tools – something that has been missing from the gaming industry in general and specially from the closed world of console development. This holiday Microsoft seeks to end this exclusivity with the release of XNA Game Studio Express. For the first time ever Microsoft will demonstrate their next-generation community development system working on Xbox 360. Come learn the strategy and vision that is driving this sea-change in thinking around who gets to build games and how they do
