You would need a special alignment disk and an oscilloscope.

I believe you can purchase an alignment disk from B&C or Best.

Have you tried cleaning the drive and checking the RPM? Alignment is a pretty rare failure point on the 810.

what i need to know is were the screw that holds the read head, so i can align the head !!?

or if someone is got a picture of the in side of the tandon 810 drive ???

what happen is that the tandon 810 won't read the other drives, just get boot error !!!

but if i format a disk using that tandon 810 drive, it will read that disk !!! also can copy programs to the tandon 810 drive, and that 810 will read tham !!!

but if I take that disk made by that tandon 810 drive, the other atari disk drives, won't read them, just boot errors !!!

so i thinks it's needs a alignment !??

Thanks !!!
