skylarking
Does anyone know the story behind this? Was it a 'homebrew' port or was it intended for commercial release?
Tempest
My understanding is that it was a homebrew that the author sent to Atari to see if they were interested. They weren't. Apperently the source code has now been lost. Tempest
NE146
I never even heard of that.. interesting. What's also interesting is Lode Runner must still be real popular and actually sells. I mean a DS version just got released in Japan not a week or two ago!

Uzumaki
I'm not surprised Atari weren't interested. Game companies generally don't allow outside stuff to come in. This is to prevent a case where someone would try to sue the game company for "stealing" their idea when the game company can prove through their policy they don't take outside solicitations. +Mitch
I wish there was 128k image so I could burn it to EPROM and play it on a real Lynx. Emu's just don't have the same feel. Mitch
V.R
Theres a 64k rom out there, should be able to get it to work on a real lynx. I might see if I can burn a copy soon.
Shawn Jefferson
The file version that's floating around out there is really easy to get working as a cart, but I heard that this version doesn't have sound and there is a version with sound? Anyway, it seems that the author didn't want a cart version released?
