Kind of an awkward Christmas, what with Dad locking his keys in the truck. We left before the locksmith came, but our sister called us to tell us that he got back into his truck. Dad's not acting very good, he just got a DUI and spent a few days in the hospital and he seemed kind of dazed at the Christmas gathering. Grandpa, however, was his jolly 81-year-young self. Here's what I got out of the whole thing:

-Simpsons Season 8 DVD set

-a big book about "the wonders of the world"

-Kirby Squeek Squad for DS

-Elite Beat Agents for DS

-World Almanac 2007

-Spongebob 2007 calendar

-Old Farmer's Almanac 2007

-$270 ($210 being from Grandpa. He's rich. )

So it was a very good Christmas, even though it hasn't really ended yet. And James Brown died. He was 73. Guess he wasn't feeling good
