  1. So I decided to use Blu Tac to stop it moving and falling off my desk and it did the trick, it must of fell off about 5 or 6 times knocking it and it sliding off...
  2. It sounds like you talking about how a hard drive works, well FAT is part of it, files that are copied to the hard drive could be at the beginning or middle or the end of the hard drive, that why you can defrag the drive, well older ones so it loads programs quicker cause it moves them to the front the more important programs and one part of a program can be at the beginning and another part of the program at the end for the hard drive so split so takes longer to load it, thats why old drives are slower plus the speed they reads at... Most Minis use FAT32 not exFAT, first of its kind... but FAT32 has a 4GB limit of the amount of data it can read in one file. So is the game binary that reading the SD card mounting it in exFAT, I wounder if it could be hacked to mount it with FAT32, you can use HxD to look at it or ghidra, it finding the right part in the binary then try changing it. The game binary is the GUI. game
  3. mmm, if joysticks and controllers work then they a normal USB ports so just USB-C ports so I wounder if a USB Stick would work and mount on the system, if so might get passed the exFAT problem on the micro SD card so make the GUI read the games.db or games.ini files from the USB Stick instead..?
  4. Its a ARM Mali400 like on the Allwinner A20/H3, that uses a Mali400MP, its because its a armv7.
  5. Error when you run it at start, it still works: C:\Games\agsp_enhance>py agsp_enhance.py enhance C:\Games\agsp_enhance\agsp_enhance.py:155: SyntaxWarning: invalid escape sequence '\ ' print(" /\ / ____|/ ____| __ \ | |") C:\Games\agsp_enhance\agsp_enhance.py:156: SyntaxWarning: invalid escape sequence '\ ' print(" / \ | | __| (___ | |__) | ___ _ __ | |__ __ _ _ __ ___ ___") C:\Games\agsp_enhance\agsp_enhance.py:157: SyntaxWarning: invalid escape sequence '\ ' print(" / /\ \| | |_ |\___ \| ___/ / _ \ '_ \| '_ \ / _` | '_ \ / __/ _ \\") C:\Games\agsp_enhance\agsp_enhance.py:158: SyntaxWarning: invalid escape sequence '\ ' print(" / ____ \ |__| |____) | | | __/ | | | | | | (_| | | | | (_| __/") C:\Games\agsp_enhance\agsp_enhance.py:159: SyntaxWarning: invalid escape sequence '\_' print(" /_/ \_\_____|_____/|_| \___|_| |_|_| |_|\__,_|_| |_|\___\___|\n")
  6. I am looking for something to use with PCUAE when I add it to AGSP, has anyone tried to see if they can use the USB-C Power port in the back as a OTG USB Drive/stick yet, like on the Atari2600 Plus they both use the same specs, if you can then it might be better then using the SD card, because its stuck on exFAT. What about the 2 USB-C ports at the front are they for power only so power the joysticks only...? I looked at the main game binary yesterday and it uses `/lib/ld-linux-armhf.so.3` that all the other minis use so its a armv7 so like THEC64 Mini/Atari2600 Plus, THEC64, THEA500, THEVIC20, Atari Flashback all use the same libs, if you look at the game binary with HxD the first lib you will see is `ld-linux-armhf.so.3`all the others use it because it comes from originally THEC64 Mini that RGL copied to each machine they made. The games GUI menu might be able to be run on another system, if you add all its dependences it needs.
  7. This just needs a GUI that installs Python for you and sets everthing up, nice work, well done... I just tested it on windows and scan and found my games.ini file on my SD card OK. Have you got the link to it on Github, I can not find it...?
  8. Every time I put my SD card in to the AGPS it messes it up and makes a folder at the top of the SD Card root with no name and when you click on it it shows the same folders that are on the SD card root, but if you click on one of the folders it say there a problem going in to the folder, I am using exFAT, weird why it can not read from FAT32, maybe its messing it up because it on exFAT and the SD Card do not like it, very odd. The Micro SD card is a Kingston 64GB, does the AGSP have a limit on what GBs the SD card can be. Anyone else had this problem...?
  9. I still have `GenesisFlashbackGameManager.exe` thats made with .NET too on my One Drive, just found it... its was for the ATGAMES MD with SD Card, that used a all-games.ini file too, most of these all work the same. AGSP uses different Retroach config files to set up its joystick so it uses the right buttons, that what I do if I add a Mode that uses Retroarch as the emulator in PCUAE, AGSP looks like it does not use Autoconfig like the Atari2600 Plus.
  10. How about a way of scraping games so it fills in all the info it needs and then all you need to do is find the rom and the bios for the system the game runs on, you could get info from say https://www.mobygames.com or another website, it would make it easier to add games, abit like how PCUAE Manager does it. I never made PCUAE Manager but it uses a lot of my ideas, scraping was one of them, the way it looks too, I made a mockup of how I wanted it to look like. If you want to replace the box and screenshot images you can drag and drop them to change them, then it resizes them so they are the right size in THECarousel. Its made in Java and uses a database file to store its games. And instead of posting different version of the GSP Games on here why not add it to GitHub better place for it and can keep track of its updates. PCUAE Manager's source code is available too... https://github.com/lantzelot-swe/PCUGameManager
  11. AGSP reminds me of the ATGAMES Mega Drive with SD Card(2018), it had non Sega bonus games too, 69 in all so only 20 Sega Games was included, not bad for £25.
  12. I plug in a sd card and keeps coming up with SD Card Mounted screen, is that normal...?
  13. Hi, I made a PDF of this post, I will be adding the AGSP Game Manager to it too so its all in one PDF file and going to make space on my one drive for Atari Gamestation Pro so all files are in one place so you be able add files as well if you what too, to do with AGSP. Atari_Gamestation_Pro_Custom_Firmware_v1.3.0c.pdf
  14. TIP: When I unscrewed the bottom panel of the console that has the weight in it to make the console heavier I used it so I could hang the buttons over the corner of my desk so you do not press down on them when the console is upside down and turn on the console on my accident so I put the bottom panel on the left side of the console it keep it balanced so the power and the Home buttons were hanging over the desk so I could press the power button when I needed too. How To Fix: Find a USB-C data cable to plug into the PC and into the AGSP, you can use the one that comes with the Atari2600 Plus, I did... . If yours does not boot then open it up and unscrew the main PCB board, its black, you will need the ribbon cable connected to turn it on, now turn over the board, I black taped the green board then stuck the black board on it with blue tac to hold it in place, you need to short the 2 pin holes next to the NAND Chip, its above the SD Card slot on the right side of the board(see pic1) as you turn it on, I used a jump pin wire that has two pins on it one at each end, I taped it together with black tape and made sure it fitted in the two holes correctly so had the right spacing between the pins, I held down the RESET button too as I was doing it, so hold RESET, power button and then wiggle the pin wire until you see `MASKROM on the RKDebvTool v2.72 then you can stop and let go, once you get into that mode then you can flash it with the firmware 1.30. Now move the firmware folder `3. Firmware` to your desktop and remove the space in the folders name `3. Firmware` to `3.Firmware` and added from the folder the Loader.bin and Firmware.img to the RKDevTool v2.72 and you should see them all blue, then press RUN Button on it and it will then flashed the firmware OK and get it working again... PIC 1 - Short two pin holes with a jumper cable Found MASKROM from the AGSP Added Loader.bin(1) Added Firmware.img(2) Pressed RUN Button to start flashing and finished all OK and its.. ALIVE... ALIVE... All done and the AGSP is now working again... I hope this works for you too... Oh and it works too with the Custom Firmware image too, if you put the firmware-c.img in the same folder and replace it in the firmware(2) in the RKDevTool 2.72 with Firmware-c.img
  15. I just fixed mine.... It was the spaces in the names that are in the Firmware when you unpack it, My Arcade needs to rerelease it without spaces in the folders names otherwise users are going to have problems flashing there console, its got to have no spaces at all in the RKDevTool v2.72. What I did was: Find a USB-C data cable to plug into the PC and into the AGSP, you can use the one that comes with the Atari2600 Plus, I did... . If yours does not boot then open it up and unscrew the main pcb board, its black, you will need the ribbon cable connected to turn it on, now turn over the board, I black taped the Green board then stuck the black board on it with blue tac to hold it in place, you need to short the 2 pin holes next to the NAND Chip, its above the SD Card slot on the right side of the board as you turn it on, I used a jump pin wire that has 2 pins at each end, I held down the RESET button too as I was doing it, so hold RESET, power button and then wiggle the pin wire until you see `MASKROM on the RKDebvTool v2.72 then you can stop and let go, once your in to that mode then you can flash it with the firmware 1.30. Firmware` to `3.Firmware` and added from the folder Loader.bin and Firmware.img to the RKDevTool v2.72 and then press RUN Button on it and it then will flashed it OK... Flashed AGSP OK... Mine is now working...
