I'm beginning not to trust SDCC. I do wished they had older version of SDCC available to download. I would like to troubleshoot with older versions to see if it fixed the issue I'm having. Every update, it seems that they change a lot but neglect to find out it does effect the coleco.h and getput.h. The latest version, with the speed radio button selected, it ignore get_bkgrd function. Without radio button, there no need to use the optimize feature.

Also, yes, I'm still figuring out how to get sound working. I need more information on the soundchip and how to access it directly by writing data to the register. Hopefully I could do that in C, or use the asm and figure out how to compile that under TSIasm. I'm still extremely new to Z80 assembly. It will take me awhile to visually see how this processor work. I'm thinking maybe find out what book is best learning this language. By learning this, I will not have to worry about broken C language.

I should dive right into the CV programmer's Manual and start reading.
