Never heard of Woot. I looked at their about page and still don't know what it is.

Woot! is a "deal of the day" site, though they've expanded and now offer multiple deals each day. Each deal is listed under one of the categories listed across the top (Woot! the original "deal of the day", electronics!, computers!, home!, etc). You can click on each word, or just hover over the text, to see each offering.

 

The items are sometimes refurbished or clearance items. I believe the HD HomeRun DUAL tuners I bought back in 2012 were refurbished as they were in plain boxes, not the retail boxes I'd seen up at Fry's. They let you know up front, such as the Woot! offer for today is a Factory Reconditioned Dyson vacuum.

 

I've bought a number of items from them, the first being my original Roomba. Don't recall exactly when, though I did mention the purchase in this 2010 blog entry about getting a Scooba due to how happy I'd been with the Roomba. I check Woot! every day just to see what they have to offer.
