Well today starts a new month and a new total of points and games. Getting started I must say that I must have not been satisfied with last nights new high score. Today I set an even higher score of 238,730 points!I think I played for a little over 2 hours, I can't remember. I just know my butt was really hurting and my hands were getting sweaty! I lost my first ship around 120k then the second at about 160k. I managed to hang on for over 70k worth of points with one ship to score the awesome score that I got today! I'm very happy and excited and it's a big way to kick off the new month! I doubt I will play like that everyday, but if I could I'd score a million in no time! I'm still sick, but doing better. The main thing now is my throat is super sore! I just took some spray and a cough drop for it and it still hurts very badly. That bites!On a more serious note I'd like to say that within about 2 weeks or so I should have a 5 day vacation. My grandma died a few months ago in November. She didn't get me started in gaming, but she rented and bought me alot of games as I was growing up. After her passing, I decided I wanted to set a world record in honor and memory of her. The big three games I have in mind are Space Jockey, Space Invaders and Berzerk. SI will be difficult to do. My Berzerk cart crapped out on me last time I played (I got to over 80k and it reset or something on me). SJ I could probably do, but my hand gets tired after a while with all the moving and what not. So hopefully on one of those days, I'll get focused, sit down, and try to set a world record just for her. If I do that, I'll be sure to post it in my blog. But knowing how I am I won't sit down and do it. It's hard for me to get myself ready for a few hour gaming session doing the same thing over and over when my mind is not in the state for it.
