Member Nathan Strum asked me if I could've played 2 games to get 1 million in 8 days. Good question. Here's the deal...I can get 1 million in 8 days, or 7...heck I could do it in 1....but the big question is, "how many games did it take?". Last month it took, if I remember right, 34 games before I achieved the 1 million mark. I guess I was more focused on how many games I could do this in. Like I said, I could get 1 million in a day. Yeah, it'd be impressive, but I would've played many many games and spent the entire day almost scoring that, and to me, that's not an accomplishment. That just means I have nothing better to do on that day.So anyways, I think it's more of an accomplishment to see how many games I can get to 1 million rather than days....unless I'm doing 1 game a day then it's fun to see the days...as they'll be the same number as the games. Anyways, I did get over 1 million in 9 days/games. I started out badly. I lost a ship at about 1k for some reason. Going for the UFO, and walked into a shot. My second ship....well to be honest, I really never saw the enemy shot that destroyed me. Was it invisible? Did I zone out for a second or two? I really don't know how I got destroyed, but obviously one of the Invaders got me!Thankfully I pulled through and got a decent 81,080. Not bad I guess, Could be better...could be worse. I do have alot going on right now in my life, plus I'm tired....those aren't excuses, I'm just saying. If things get too bad I feel my concentration on SI will shoot down the drain. I've got to stay focused and alert, and keep my problems out of my mind while I play or anything. They can't be fixed until the time comes for me to face it.
