Not likely. It really have to be something!

While I do not believe in total exclusion of mediums, such as cartridges - as physical entities those have limited lifespan, potentially require maintaining console's cartridge-slot as well and offer nothing more than feel of nostalgia at best. If I could store the cartridge's game ( for good ) into console's hdd/ssd, perhaps I would.

The console's internal storage must also be backed up. One random failure and pffffttt! Aw gone..
