Will we see Crash @ E3 this year?
Its been a while since a new crash game came out, and the people of the internet miss their favorite bandicoot! Once we saw that the original Crash Bandicoot was a playable Easter egg in Uncharted 4, theories seemed to explode citing evidence from all over that Crash was making a comeback! While Sony cant or wont confirm anything as of yet, some say due to NDAs, seasoned Playstation fans are beginning to see their lucky stars align and all signs point to a new game coming out some time in the near future. Of particular note is Crashs rapidly approaching 20th anniversary of being first unleashed upon the gaming world of the late nineties.
Crash Bandicoot has been bouncing around from developer to developer, who have put out games subject to mix reviews, as well as a drastic change in
character design, Most notably in Aku Aku and in Crashs tattoos. It would be an absolute thrill to see our dear orange friend come back home to the
Playstation for a big ol 20th anniversary celebration in true bandicoot fashion (That being cartoony violence and nonsensical antics).
As far as the general public is aware, the rights to the Crash franchise are as of yet still owned by Activision, and while they by no means have done poorly,
fans long for the franchise to return to its creators over at Naughty Dog, and a return to the old school style of 3D platforming.
So what do you think? Will our main marsupial make a much mandated return for his 20th birthday, or are the internet spiders finding only a web of lies?
