Followers 1 I'm surprised to find Popeye candy stick. I read in the internet these candies like this are banned because they look likes cigarettes.
Flojomojo 36,074 Posted October 13, 2019 I think they're allowed if you don't suggest that they're "candy cigarettes," like they did when I was a kid. They had names like Pell Mell (instead of Pall Mall) back then, too. Those things are NOT tasty. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/blogs/entry/16289-i-thought-they-are-banned/#findComment-27070
ChildOfCv 643 Posted October 13, 2019 Maybe it's a per-state thing. Either way: https://www.amazon.com/World-Confections-Candy-Cigarettes-Pack/dp/B000BXSRT2 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/blogs/entry/16289-i-thought-they-are-banned/#findComment-27071
Mulletino 208 Posted October 13, 2019 Yeah I always remember buying "Superman Sweet Cigarettes" as a kid, those were definitely branded as ciggies, which I believe is not allowed. Odd how they sold those then later on Superman went on to do the "Ant Smoking' public service announcements with Nick O Teen in the UK. Serguei2 1,270 Posted October 13, 2019 In Canada: federal law prohibits candy cigarette branding that resembles real cigarette branding. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candy_cigarette Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/blogs/entry/16289-i-thought-they-are-banned/#findComment-27073
