Is it hot enough for you? (Snappy Answers)

Those of you who remember Mad Magazine may remember a regular feature Al Jaffe used to write titled "Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions." In each one there would be a stupid question ("Did you catch that fish?") and then several snappy answers (such as "No, I talked him into giving himself up" and "No, I was sitting here minding my own business when the crazy thing jumped into my pail").

Help me brainstorm snappy answers to the stupid question, "So, is it hot enough for ya?". I've heard this at least 50 times in the past week and every time someone asks me I never have an answer ready to rattle back to them. If you have a good comeback for me to use, add it here. If it's good enough, I may start using it!

Here's a picture taken inside my car yesterday. I'm sure my truck's black paint had something to do with the reading. Yes, it is hot enough for me.

It's really hot here too - too hot to think of snappy comebacks. Hence, these are really dumb:

"So, is it hot enough for ya?"

(Delirium)

"Sure, I'll have a banana!"

(Sarcasm)

"I seem to have lost the hearing in my left ear due to the heatstroke I'm experiencing. Could you please repeat yourself?"

"Are you nuts!? I'm freezing! Do you have a sweater I could borrow?"

(Misinterpret the question)

"Naw... plaid was never my thing."

"A touch heavy on the eyeshadow, but not bad!"

(Denial)

"Why is everything around here my fault? I'm not running this business alone, you know!"

(Religious)

"God is punishing us for our sins; We must repent! Join me and together and we'll convince the others to do the same."

My favorite so far has been, "not to me -- my nipples are rock hard!" I don't know how appropriate it would be at work, but I still liked it. My other favorite has been, "it's just Jesus preparing us for hell."

My old black del Sol would get to 140 in the summer. I have a light blue S2000 now, it doesn't get nearly as hot. I don't know if it's the color of the paint, or if the soft top lets the heat out better.
