I always attended the Replay/FX back in 2015 - 2019 time frame.  It was downtown Pittsburgh at David Lawrence convention center, and it was gargantuan in size.  Replay/FX is gone, but there has been a Pittsburgh Gaming Expo for a few years.  I attended yesterday for the first time.  This is at the Monroeville PA convention center. Monroeville is like a Pittsburgh suburb city, 15 miles east.

PGX is smaller than ReplayFX was, but still comparable. I recognized many of the same vendors. There were lots of games and used consoles and controllers to root through.  I saw 2600s, 5200s, 7800s, 800Xls. Lots of DC, GCn, and newer used consoles.   But I already own what I want so I wasn't impeller to buy anything oyher than some local habanara beef sticks and some retro themed keychains. I took pics of interesting stuff as I went, but sat down and reviewed the pics and concluded I really wasn't interested in buying more games for my retro systems.  I was tempted to buy a rarely found Saturn copy of Bubble Bobble, but didn't. It was $45.  I enjoyed seeing the various retro gaming artistic and crafty products. There was so much I felt very tired.

I played lots of pinball games, although many tables kept having problems. I played several Street Fighter 6 rounds against people, my first time experiencing the newer game. I played as Blanka, E Honda, and Ken. I found a Zaxxon and enjoyed it, and watching a guy who clearly had some Zaxxon skills and understanding. Played Tron, Super Hang On, DK, Ms Pac turbo, and arcade version of Virtua Fighter Remix (!), sit-down Hydro Thunder, Street Fighter  Puzzle,  and more.  I really didn't care about all the consoles, I've experienced lots of that on my own. I did play Atari 5200 Robotron with the joystick coupler, and Space Rocks on Retron 77, and Tempest 4000 on some Atari box.

There were guest gaming celebs, I talked briefly with the Riggs, saw John's NES games that hemade and sells.  Talked to Paul who did MK art.  There were panels in the 3 or 4 side rooms, I missed most of these. I watched the young woman playing flute to the accompaniment of various RPG soundtracks. One panel was about voice actors. But none of that is an interest of mine.

I noticed that I felt aches and soreness in my arms and hands after playing games and pinball! Getting old... I've attached some random pics below!
