I didn't wander too far from my table but I was able to take a picture of mezrabad playing Guitar Hero while his son, on the far left, played some other video game:

Here's Flack at his table selling his new book "Commodork: Sordid Tales from a BBS Junkie". I bought a copy and he signed it! It's a good read and you should consider getting a copy for yourself; especially if you were into BBS's back in the day.

Alex liked Flack's Commodore setup and played a lot of games on the system. You can see his dad in the background trying to top Funkbuddy's top score in Galaga:

There was some pretty good artwork on display at the show:

Purenergy had a table in the show that featured the game "Coke Wins!". It was basically a Space Invaders game but it was a nice game nevertheless. Brad had a contest going on with the game. High score wins a bunch of prizes (there was a second and third prize too, IIRC). Guess who won? Click here to see.

He won a miniature Atari game, a Walmart gift card and some Texas lottery scratchers. Good work!

Towards the end of the show the balloon guy showed up and made all sorts of balloon animals and other things for the spectators. I saw that mezrabad and his son had balloons on their heads but I didn't understand what they were until they posed for me:

Oh! It's Pac-Man and one of the Ghosts! I get it! And mezrabad Jr. was holding a power pill for his Pac-Man! I was hoping mezrabad Jr.'s Pac-Man would eat the pill so I could watch mezrabad Jr. chase his dad around the show. Sadly, it didn't happen.

Even Alex got a balloon from the balloon man:

However, I don't think Alex knew about it. We tried telling him that there was an alien on his head trying to suck his brain. Alex didn't listen until, of course, it was too late:

Don't worry, we got the Alien off his head and Alex quickly recovered.

After the show and after we dismantled our tables, a bunch of us got together at a local Chinese restaruant:

This year's show was pretty good. It was the first time I ever had a table on display at a show and so I was pretty excited this year. I don't know if I'll put up a display next year or even set up a table but I'm really glad I did it this year. A big Thanks goes out to Phosphor Dot Fossils for making it all possible for me.
