One thing that irks me the most, is how people are constantly chopping down woodland here in Vermont to build luxury homes. I saw in the paper today that they are dividing up a plot of land called Shelburne Point. It is almost like an island, and has lots of lush wilderness and beautiful views. It also has multi-million dollar homes and now they want to build more. Why can't they just leave the land alone and find an empty field that's no longer being used for agriculture? I don't care for looking at empty fields and I prefer looking at woodland and lakes and so forth. I'll never understand why people have to come here to ruin Vermont. I was born here, raised here and I'll probably die here. This is my home and I can't understand why they MUST divide, sub-divide and plow over everything.
