Well... this is a general blog. Kind of a ramble if anything. Perhaps just notes to keep me in order. LOL

 

Dreamcast:

In many many ways... this system just pisses me off! I like it better than the Jag CD system. I've had this system for a long time as well. But... I only have like 3 or 4 games. I was able to burn a SNES disk for it. Beyond that: NOTHING.

I've tried to burn disks to get them working. I'd like to have self-booting disks... but still... I can't get ANYTHING to burn properly.

 

Oh well. I'm half tempted to send this one to ebay and give up on it. I sure hope the TG cd games aren't this hard to burn.

ITEMS MOST WANTED:

 

1. I need some empty TG jewel cases (mainly the HU Card ones). Or I need ones that are already for certain games I have loose. To know which ones... you'd have to check out my list of games and my TG collection in the earlier pages of my blog.

 

2. Secondly: ANY and every PC Engine HU Card I can find! LOL I know this bug is going to hit me hard.... but I want them! I'm not worried about collecting the cases and manuals for that collection. Hell... I won't be able to read them.

 

3. Atari 2600: Even though my intrest in the 2600 scene has faded a bit... I still want to finish off this Rarity 1-4 list I have. Right now I'm working a deal with someone here for a few of them. I have to check out a few Atari Lynx systems I have to see if I can make a trade. I will still need to collect the rest. Somehow.

I finally got Dracula X to work on the PSP. Thanks to a fellow member here that gave me the correct files. I had a few files wrong. Call me a dork and get it out of the way. LOL. I've been trying to get those damn things to work since last year.

I'm eager for my PCE DUO-R to get here. It should be shipping soon! It is like Christmas here! I can't wait for it to get here so I can try out the cd based games. I finally got to try Dracula... so I can only imagine what the rest are like!

 

*******EDIT... I just got an email from the guy shipping my stuff. Basically it said: Good news! I've been waiting for a box from Japan for 7 weeks. It just arrived. That means a very outstand selection for you!!!!

 

Can you say "HELL YEAH!!!!"

N64:

My girlfriend's friend asked her if she wanted any games. She promptly said yes without any questions. The kiddos already have a N64 and a few games (Zeldas, Quest... and others). Well.. to my surprise... they added close to 30 more thanks to my girlfriend grabbing those games! Nothing too rare... but plenty of games. I noticed Goldeneye in there. I'll have to sit down and play that one again soon! :)

I got my package from TZD today. I forgot all about it. I got an extender cable for my controller.... and I got an AC Adaptor for my Turbo Express (FINALLY!!!). I also got 15 manuals I needed for my TG-16 collection!

 

:) I'm very happy with those guys. The manuals are very mint and fresh!

Turbo Zone Direct is a pretty good place to go for T-16 stuff but am afraid that they are running out of stuff and my understanding is that they wont carry used stuff so who knows how long they will be around for.

 

I can't wait to hear your big announcement this should be very cool indeed! :)

There will be TWO big announcements actually. One will be a blog... a detailed blog... the other... just a simple really good announcement! :)

 

That's all I can say right now!

 

 

As for Turbo Zone Direct... yep... they are running low. I am still half tempted to buy one of those TE systems they have refurbished. I just can't really justify it yet when mine still works perfectly. I thought about buying a 'bad sound except through the headphones' Turbo Grafx Express.... and then fixing it according to the guides over at that PC Engine site. Just don't know though. I also thought about grabbing a GT instead now that I will have a lot of PC Engine carts coming my way. But again... I just don't know about that. I missed out on an auction on ebay a while back. It was a TG Express that a worker for TG actually modded so that it could play US HuCards and PCE Engine Hu Cards. I think there was a small switch or something in the battery compartment. It seemed really nice... but oh well.

 

Too bad TZD won't sell used items. I wish there was a site that would... and well... were actually fairly good on the prices.
