Video Game Collector Issue #6

I decided to grab a few homebrews as a treat to myself. I got to looking at the Holiday cart and decided to grab it. Then I remembered that Wolfenstein cart... and then grabbed that A-VCS-tec game because of the reviews. (I'll have to look around in the threads to see what the limited edition one consisted of)

I grabbed that Video Game Collector Magazine because I lost mine. I loved the little checklist of all of the TG-16 games. I wonder if any other VGC magazines are coming out. it is a shame that I ordered a subscription and only have two issues. :(

Well... I gotta run. I got to wrap presents. I found another Wii to replace the one that got stolen from me. It is a long story, but it got stolen as far as I know. In all... this damned Wii cost me more than my PS3. But I couldn't just give the kiddos a raincheck.

Hey man... sorry I haven't been around a lot... I hope to change that soon. If you feel like reading... here's a thread from the beginning of my Wii Nightmare:

The DeLee Wii Fiasco

Short story version:

I bought a $500 Wii bundle back in October. Then I went online and got a d2c chip so that I could have the Wii modded in time for Christmas and whatnot. I was really excited about this, did my research, picked a guy off of the blackcats site I had chatted with about the mods... and then I got screwed over. I emailed the guy every day. I tried to call... I did everything I could in order to get a valid response/reply from this guy. He decided to beat around the bush from the beginning. I didn't get too pissed off until he sent me an email that said... 'sorry... it won't be there before christmas'. That's when I got a bit... umm... loose with my choice of words. I lost my cool a bit I guess you could say. But the thing is... this guy made multiple promises and now refuses to answer a simple question: "When did you ship my package... and what is the tracking number?"

I sent him a package on the 19th... to prove it would get there before Christmas. It did. LOL

All of the info is there for everyone to see. The guy still wants his business... yet he refuses to handle the problem at hand. I suspect he broke my Wii. But isn't man enough to fix it... or tell me what happened. I saw another Wii on craigslist the other day and picked it up. So in all... I spent $500 for the 1st bundle.... $60 for the d2c chip, and then $315 for the new wii. Almost $900 friggin dollars for this damned thing.

Dang that sucks Eric well at lest you were able to get the kids another Wii thoses things are like the Lockness Monster right now......Thought to have been seen but never found.

I know because i wanted one myself but was unsuccessful in my search so i bought a PS2 and some games instead(Fire Pro Wrestling Returns is just awesome and cheap for $20).

If get a chance tell me about this mod chip and what is supposed to do as i never heard of modding a Wii.

when you put the chip in... you can play copied Wii games and Gamecube games. Just like a modded PS2.

I backup all of my games for the kiddos, as they aren't the best at keeping them in great condition
