Playing Bubble Ghost (C64)

Hi there!

Hurry Up Marketing! We need a name for a game with a Bubble and a Ghost asap! :lolblue:

This is a neat little game from France, in which you have to guide a Bubble safely through 35 screens. Kinda reminds one of Crazy Balloon, but there's a big difference, since you're actually not controlling the bubble itself, but a cute little ghost. It can be rotated in 45° steps and can so blow the bubble towards the exit. (A gameplay idea that recently resurfaced in Super Mario Galaxy )

The ghost can freely roam the screen, but the bubble will burst whenever it touches something. In some screens the ghost also has to do other things, like blowing out candles or turning switches to clear the path ahead.

The graphics in this game are functional and I best not mention the audio. The joystick controls take a while to get used to, I assume the mouse did a better job on the Amiga/ST versions.

Using save states after every screen it took only one evening to beat:

Some future day the "Playing..." series may see another game from Ere Informatique in the form of "Teenage Queen", but first it will continue with something different.
