People who are fat, dumb and ignorant

It's true. Before you take offense to the title of this post, think about things. Look at where the country has been going the past 25 or so years. Look at the legions of overweight people that hobble over to pay for the gas for their bloated SUVs. Look at the overweight people that use an elevator to get to another floor when the stairs are easier to take and good for their hearts. Look at the overweight people that waddle happily to their cars with a shopping cart completely full of crap they don't need. You tell me. Why are people so fat, dumb and ignorant nowadays? I too, was grossly overweight myself. I actually liked it sometimes. I liked how I could eat a whole package of cookies in one days. I liked how I could devour 2 bags of potato chips while watching my favorite movies. I don't do that anymore and to be honest, I don't even miss it. I've grown so accustomed to my diet, that I don't ever want to go back to doing such things. Why can't other people see things this way?Is it really worth paying with your health just to be fat? Do you really enjoy paying more money for larger clothes? Do you really like paying more money for gas to haul your ass for 1 mile to the store when you can easily walk there? Do you enjoy struggling to catch your breath up a couple flights of stairs? I sure as hell didn't!It would be nice if people would change more. Until then, we have to view images of such a sad group of Americans. There is nothing attractive about being overweight and nothing glorious about it either. Another thing I want to mention is the claim by General Mills that their cereals are made with "whole-grain". For example, a cup of Whole Grain Total has only 3 grams of fiber. Compared to this, a cup of Kashi Good Friends cereal has 13 grams of fiber. You tell me. I think this "whole-grain" claim is an outright marketing farce. If you're trying to maintan a healthy diet, you cannot go wrong with a diet high in fiber. I doubt you will get the fiber you need from a cup of Total. What a farce.
