Planet Bob

Small update; I'm at about 13 hours of online play and I feel like I haven't scratched the surface. Don't know if that's your thing or not, but I'm having a lot of fun.

 

My opinion of the single player campaign in a nutshell: better than Halo but not as good as Halo 2.

I've played through the Mini Ninjas PS3 demo and had a blast. It reminded me a lot of Zelda (Windwaker cell shaded graphics & Twilight adventure). I don't know how it will map to the Wii controls though.

 

I've also played the PS3 demo of Ghostbusters and I wasn't impressed. It's a 1st/3rd person shooter with bosses only. The ghosts are always popping up behind you. Luigi's Mansion was more fun.

I'm really looking forward to those games.

 

I think the last Ego-Shooter I played longer than an hour was Duke Nukem, so The Conduit should be very interesting to me (...hoping it's not triggering my motion sickness...)

 

I for sure can't compare it to Halo

 

Mini Ninjas got a raving 87% review in the german Wii Magazin, they didn't sound too negative on the controls. I'm really hyped about it now, favoring it even over Spyborgs - an amazing feature considering what Capcom fanatic I normally am

 

And Ghostbusters should play like a dream. Controlling Proton-Packs, that's what the Wiimote was made for!

Duke Nukem 3D is one of the few FPSs I've played extensively - that one's a lot of fun.
