Looking for photos of a 'haunted house' near the Georgetown, Illinois area

Between 1973 and 1974, when I lived in Georgetown, Illinois, family friends drove us out to a place kind of out in the middle of nowhere. We parked near the road and walked up a long driveway (or possibly a crappy little ancient road) to an abandoned 'haunted house' on the right side. It looked like homeless people or future prison inmate teens or them thar dirty hippies messed up the place. It was kind of nasty inside and I believe graffiti was on some of the walls (we didn't do any damage to the house, we just looked around). I don't know if it would be considered a mansion, but the house was pretty big, at least to a kid. I think we got out of there before it got dark since I believe nobody was bright enough to take a flashlight.

I didn't see a ghost or demon or any type of otherworldly creature there, but there was an area upstairs in the hall that had a really evil feeling to it.

If I remember correctly, the drive to the place took a while, so this 'haunted house' may not be in Georgetown, Illinois. It's probably less than 50 miles away from Georgetown.

If anyone has any old photos or knows about photos or videos of a 'haunted house' like this in the Georgetown, Illinois area, please post a link.

Thanks.
